When offering a product or service for sale you always want to present everything you have available in the clearest and most attractive way possible. This means comparing your various products and pricing plans. In WordPress there are two ways you can achieve such a comparison, and these are either building your own table using some CSS and design knowledge, or by using a free or premium plugin.

When offering a product or service for sale you always want to present everything you have available in the clearest and most attractive way possible. This means comparing your various products and pricing plans in a table to show off the available features and savings users can make by opting for one plan or product over another.

In WordPress there are two ways you can achieve such a comparison in a good looking fashion, and these are either building your own table using some CSS and design knowledge, or by using a free or premium plugin.

Since nowadays having a responsive table is as important as having a responsive website in order for potential customers to view your products or services on any device, I’d always recommend going for the second option; using a plugin. Now there are free and premium versions, each offering their own set of designs and features, so below we’ll take a look at the best of both worlds.

Live Examples of Price & Service Comparison Tables

For those of you who aren’t sure what I’m talking about when I speak of comparison tables, or for those who’d like to get some quick ideas from existing tables, I’ve brought together four examples from live websites below.

All the tables have different designs; some are horizontal while others are vertical, colour schemes vary, while some even emphasise one plan over the rest. All these can prove to be very valuable tools to not only attract the users’ eye, but also to convince them to choose one plan over another.
